in the online version of the WineSpectator.
We have not seen it yet, but apparently our Perrin et Fils 'les Sinards' Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2003 and our Perrin & Fils 'les christins' Vacqueyras 2003 are both among the top 100 wines of 2005 from the winespectator magazine!
Mister Hiramatsu is a fantastic chef, who runs a large restaurant company whose flagship restaurants are Hiramatsu in Tokyo and in Paris.
We just had there an incredible dinner with some fantastic food and wine matches in the Tokyo restaurant. Mister Hiramatsu is an incredibly talented chef.
an article about our family wines in Sao paulo.
We just did two great dinners in Tokyo, one at the intercontinental Tokyo Bay and the other one at the intercontinental Yokohama. We have gathered with other great houses to do these dinners, Hugel et fils in Alsace, Chateau Palmer in Margaux and Laurent Perrier in champagne).

We just had an interview about Vinsobres new classification and here are our answers to some questions:
We are very happy for vinsobres, which for us is the most northern-rhone style southern-rhone wine, and which is for us one of the very best places to grow syrah in the southern rhone valley, because the syrah keeps there the finesse and elegance that it can lose in other places of the southern rhone valley (due to altitude and vinsobres specific climate).
The Vinsobres Cru consists of a selection of the best terroirs of Vinsobres. Only 1300 hectares of the 1800 have been selected based on the geology and exposition (south-exposed vineyards only have been included in the cru delimitation). We believe this will further reinforce the global quality of Vinsobres wines. The non-selected parcels will be allowed to produce 'simple' Cotes du Rhone AOC, which means that the AOC Cotes du Rhone Village disappears.
The blend will now be minimum 50% grenache and minimum 25% syrah or mourvedre.
The INAO comitee has agreed the election of Vinsobres as a Cru. The decrete must now by signed by various french ministers before official publication.
As of today, Vinsobres is a ‘Cru’ and the AOC will be ‘Vinsobres AOC’ instead of ‘Côtes du Rhône Villages Vinsobres’. This new classification covers 1200 hectares out of 1500 and is a recognition of the great terroir of Vinsobres by the ‘INAO’! That is a great news for Vinsobres and its wines.
I like this article from Ed McMarthy because it allow us to understand the specificities of the southern rhone wines, and explains briefly the different AOCs.
Also there is a good review of our Perrin Réserve Cotes du Rhone.
The article from winereviewonline is here.
